ABOUT US

Kai Charp & Ty Hosein are best friends, students, singer-songwriters, producers, and multi-instrumentalists, embracing timeless, genre-less melodies with hints of modern flair.

Since meeting in 2022, Kai & Ty have co-written multiple albums worth of original music, and together with their band, Six of Spades, have performed dozens of gigs around the California Bay Area.

Now, fueled by love and by change, by melody and meaning, and by the soul & folk icons that inspire them, Kai & Ty have set their sights on Kickin’ and Screamin’ with Songs of Love, and doing so for as long as they can.

In collaboration with their band, Six of Spades, and Grammy-nominated producer Ray Obiedo, Kai & Ty spent 2024 realizing their debut EP “Kickin’ and Screamin’ with Songs of Love”, with plans to release in early 2025, along with two additional demo EPs of more recent material.
